""A story assembled from everyday objects, unassumingly and quietly, that stuns and horrifies by increments...The Canal may look, at first glance, like a love story, but it harnesses the power of parable." John Wray, author of Lowboy.

Muumuu House . . .
I got the new Muumuu House title – ‘during my nervous breakdown I want to have a biographer present’ by Brandon Scott Gorrell – through the post today from polymath extraordinaire (and my fellow Melville House Books stable-mate) Mr Tao Lin. Although, I did have to trek back to my old house in De Beauvoir Town to get it as Tao sent it to my old address (my fault, not his). I was actually very excited about picking this new title up, as the previous Muumuu release was pretty damn splendid. I get the feeling that these new releases from Muumuu House should be snapped-up by any would-be bibliophile savvy enough to realise that these books will come to be very important books in the future, as each represent and important new departure in American poetry and fiction (this new northern passage was, of course, cleared for use by Tao himself, along-side the wondrous fictions of Noah Cicero, to boot). Expect my review of this new title at 3AM Magazine at some point in the near future.
Exciting times indeed across the pond.
