Anyway, that's enough of that; here are some things I have been up to of late:
/ The Canal is now at the printers all set for the US launch in June. I think I will receive my copies in May (that's if there's no more volcanic and geothermal activity).
/ Writing my Fables book.
/ Sitting in the garden drinking wine.
/ Cooking lots of good food.
/ Burning my face.
/ Reading lots of Jon McGregor (I'm a late-comer to his work - he's very good!).
/ Fostered an addiction to Ricola.
/ Re-reading Kafka (shorter fictions/Diary and letters).
/ Re-reading Blanchot (his writing on Kafka).
/ Reading Plato.
/ Wondering if I should buy some new clothes.
/ Going to the British Library a lot.
And I reckon that's about it. as you can see, I don't lead an exciting life, buy hey! Once the fables book is written (I have a deadline for the 25th May), things should start to hot up on here again in preparation for the launch of The Canal.
