The end of a rather productive week. I think I’ve finished the final edit of Varroa Destructor (collection of poems). I’m going to put it aside for a couple of weeks and then pick it up again. See how it reads. If I like it then it’ll see the light of day, I hope.
I have just spent the last couple of days interviewing Heidi James about her debut novel Carbon that’s out on the wonderful BLATT. I read this novel last year and it’s a wonderful exploration of language, greed and disappointment. I really hope this becomes something; it deserves massive, widespread attention. It’s an important book. And the cover is beautiful too. BLATT always have high production values on all of their titles.
I have been thinking of ways to drum up sales for Everyday but so far have thought of nothing. I’m no Tao Lin (the master when it comes to self-publicity). Ah well, never mind.
I’ve got the weekend now to help Holly with our wedding preparation (a mere two weeks away) and to read more about LHC and also about cabin decompression in civil aircraft.
