My latest review at 3AM Magazine has just been published, it's of Ellen Kennedy's assured debut 'sometimes my heart pushes my ribs' [Muumuu House]. I like the book, it will probably annoy some readers, but that's a good sign I think. Above all, the book is interesting, it contains that 'something' all good writing hides from the reader. That same 'something' that urges the reader forwards. Below is the cover:
I think Muumuu House author
Brandon Scott Gorrell designed it.* I like the cover too.
*I don't know why I just wrote that! When it clearly states on the back of the book that Ellen Kennedy herself designed the book. I think Brandon Scott Gorrell designed his own cover, but I'm not sure about that either, I'll check when I get hold of a copy of
his.
