There is a wonderful, refreshing and insightful essay by Zadie Smith over at the NYRB. Where she discusses, with adroitness and relish, the possibilities of Tom McCarthy’s fiction and the INS. This is some of the best writing I have seen on the INS. And it seems that Zadie Smith is definitely ‘on-side’.
The article echoes (in a far less impulsive way) just what I have been arguing for the last 3 years.
