New look . . .

So, if you're reading this it means you are true Scarecrow aficionados. Welcome back, comrades! It's been a while and quite a lot has been happening . . . But preambles are boring so let's just get on with it, eh?

Just out via Alma Books is Tom McCarthy's Men in Space. I reviewed it for The Observer and will be writing some more on this remarkable book for 3AM Magazine.

Another book of interest is Travis Jeppesen's Wolf at the Door. We were lucky enough to see Travis read from Wolf at the Door at Calder Bookshop the other night (pictures on Scarecrow Gallery). The novel is a wondrous caterwaul of isolation that should mark Travis Jeppesen as a novelist who has something to say.
